Outputs

In order to achieve the project’s objectives, a set of outputs has been identified.

The project outputs include the following:

a) Research:

Synthetic review reports per axis

In December 2015 and as a result of the state of the art’s review, three review reports will be published on this website. Each review report will analyse one of the three axis of the project (cultural memory, cultural inclusion and cultural creativity).

Synthetic vision documents per axis

These documents will develop overviews on all the Thematic Areas (TAs) discussed from the perspective of each of the three articulating axes while identifying social challenges and opportunities linked also to each of them that are beyond the targeted TA. Expected date of publication on this website: July 2016

Vision documents per thematic area

These documents are the result of a deeper review level focused on each one of the Thematic Areas of the project (see Theoretical framework). The main objective is to identify research gaps and build theoretical perspectives. These documents will be made available March 2016.

First Workshop. Barcelona, 30 Sept. & 1, 2 Oct. 2015.

Synthetic summary of the debates at the first workshop

This summary presents the results of the first workshop organized in the framework of CulturalBase (Barcelona, 30 September & 1, 2 October 2015). The workshop has convened a group of participants from the CulturalBase research, practitioners and policy stakeholders’ network as well as from the advisory board to exchange and discuss on the initial research carried out within the project.

Major Stakeholder Conference. Barcelona, 11-13 May 2016.

Preparatory material for the stakeholders’ conference

The conference kit, media package, and relevant publications will be made available through the website prior to the conference (Barcelona, 11 – 13 May 2016).

Synthetic summary of the debates at the stakeholders’ conference

This summary will present the results of the debates and working groups at the stakeholders’ conference. It will be published in June 2016 on this website.

Second Workshop. Place and date to be confirmed.

Synthetic summary of the debates at the second workshop

This summary, which will be made available on this website in the first quarter of 2017, will present the results of the second workshop organized in the framework of CulturalBase (place and date to be confirmed). It will convene a group of participants from the CulturalBase research, practitioners and policy stakeholders’ network as well as from the advisory board to exchange and discuss on the second leg of research carried out within the project.

Policy Seminar. Place and date to be confirmed.

Synthetic summary of the debates at the policy seminar

The CulturalBase policy seminar will take place in the first quarter of 2017 (date and place to be confirmed). The summary will present the results of the seminar, taking into account the prior reflective exercise about knowledge gaps, fundamental issues of inquiry and key policy issues carried out in the previous phases of the CulturalBase project.

Three local workshops will be organized in the framework of CulturalBase. Information on these events will be uploaded on this website.

c) Comunication:

CulturalBase website

CulturalBase has set up this website as a repository of the information and activities related to the project. Information is also made available to all those interested in the themes tackled in the framework of CulturalBase through a dedicated Facebook page and a Twitter account. Intended as social platform, the CulturalBase website also includes an open online tool which will serve the project enabling for the setting up of working groups, exchange of documents, etc. Information on the CulturalBase platform and how to access it will be systematically given through the website.

CulturalBase news alerts

In order to provide updated information to all those participating in the CulturalBase project or interested in its activities, a series of 8 news alerts will be published on this website throughout the duration of the project.

CulturalBase policy briefs

CulturalBase aims at socializing the results of the activities carried out also through the provision of short and focused documents intended for the wider public. The policy briefs will therefore summarize, in a concise and user-friendly style, the results of the different activities, including research and exchange of information.

Data Management Plan

Regarding the dissemination of the data generated by CulturaBase (mainly through the theoretical review outcomes and research agenda development, discussion summaries resulting from workshops and stakeholders conference) a Project Data Management Plan is foreseen. The strategy for data management is to be considered as an open process conditioned by the data development and the participants’ interests in a broad sense. The web, will be a key element to make the data accessible and to stimulate the participants and interested persons feedback. Follow the CulturalBase website for updated information.
